Position              : Shift Supervisor (Part-Time)

Reporting to      : Restaurant Business Manager

The Role:

Responsible for managing shifts whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service and ensuring the staff is upholding the Mad Mex values.

 

We are looking for experienced people leaders who:

  • Uphold the vision, mission & values of Mad Mex and encrypt that piece in our work life
  • Uplift the customer journey that is aligned to the brand expectation that sets MAD MEX apart;
  • Constantly train/retrain the team with MAD MEXs’ system, process, SOPs and supervise on execution to ensure the superior customer journey

 

is detailed in Product Management:

  • Supervise and update Restaurant Business Manager on inventory management which includes receiving, rotation and stocktaking
  • Supervise food safety and quality standard adhered to the policy/guideline which includes labeling, shelf lives, usage and wastage

 

is Performance Driven:

  • Conduct marketing initiatives to uplift restaurant performance and ensuring activities adhere to brand touch point
  • Ensuring compliance with NEA and workplace legislation
  • Ensure cash handlers adhere to cash handling & banking procedures
  • Ensure smooth Daily Opening & Closing of the restaurant and flawless shift management

 

It is essential for a qualifier to have/to be

  • At least 2 years of experience in supervising 6-10 crews per shift in the F&B Operations
  • Completed Food Hygiene course and carries a valid certificate.
  • Moderate computer skills Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Passionate about the food industry and customer experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proven ability to motivate staff and build team spirit
  • Able to develop and coach others
  • Good communication skills – verbal & written

 

It is desirable for a qualifier if one is/has

  • Familiar with the food industry local laws, certifications and compliance
