At Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill, we prepare fresh, healthy & authentic Mexican food and deliver it with a smile and a hearty HOLA!  Established in 2007, we expanded quickly and now have over 70 Mad Mex outlets located throughout Australia and NZ.

We are looking for Grill Cooks to lead and grow with us in our Mad Mex restaurant located in Ultimo Take in Sydney.

About the Role

The Griller is responsible for all the day to day elements of running the grill section of a Mad Mex Restaurant. This involves preparing and cooking Mad Mex products according to menu guidelines and secret recipes whilst adhering to food preparation procedures, cooking times, & hygiene safety standards.

The role requires someone who is highly organised and passionate about providing quality service along with maintaining a clean and tidy work space. It is a fast paced environment so you need to be able to work quickly and efficiently! 

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic & hardworking, with excellent communication skills and dedicated to building team spirit. 

Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role and possess solid knife skills, the ability to multitask and perform well under pressure. You must also be able to understand and follow recipes & checklists.

Knowledge of the quick service restaurant (QSR) environment is highly desirable, however we have a great training program for those with a strong work ethic who are eager to learn.
